My new CT!

Okay, so my style has changed a bit since I last tried to become a designer and I wasn't entirely sure how my new style would be accepted especially since the very first store I applied to REJECTED ME boohoo hoo talk about an ego blow LOL. Ah well, I suppose it's a necessary evil on the road to getting where you want to go. My ego has had a little bit of a lift, though, with my current CT call. I was blessed with GOBS of amazing applications and even though I chopped and chopped I still ended up having to add 4 spots as I just couldn't pass some of them up! Here are the results and I couldn't be more excited, Its a wonderful and friendly team, LOVE them all so much! Of course, those that were with me originally have an extra special place in my heart!

Okay, I am definitely going to start designing again, I've really missed it!!

Thanks to Lorie Davison and the freebie below I was finally able to work on the art journaling challenge given to us, Here is my intro page for the Japan section. I need to go back to my France Layout and add some local lore because it occured to me I didn't do that. Here is Japan. The story is one of the local legends. Hope you all are well!

A little real life art!

and in true Hennessey tradition, his competitive side got the best of him and he had to find out if big sister was able to draw as well as him. So, he challenged me to a drawing duel. Not being one to ever turn down a challenge I promptly began this portrait.. I lost the original photo in transit so I will never be able to finish, but I got enough done to prove we are a fair match
